Viktor&Rolf’s Wild World Lands at Atlanta’s High Museum

By Velena Simone

The wait is over. “Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Statements” has officially taken over the High Museum of Art, bringing one of Europe’s boldest fashion duos to U.S. audiences for the first time.

Dutch designers Viktor Horsting and Rolf Snoeren, the minds behind unforgettable looks worn by Lady Gaga, Madonna, and Cardi B, blur the line between couture and performance art. Their designs don’t just hang in closets; they command a stage.

Now through February 8, 2026, the High’s galleries explode with more than 100 avant-garde creations from over 30 collections spanning three decades. Expect theatrical silhouettes, sculptural gowns, and their viral “Fashion Statements” dresses layered in tulle-cut phrases like “I’m not shy, I just don’t like you.”

The immersive experience unfolds across eight themed sections, each spotlighting a different chapter of Viktor&Rolf’s career, and even features new digital projections from the visual-effects studio behind Stranger Things and Game of Thrones.

Curated by Thierry-Maxime Loriot, the show is making its only U.S. stop right here in Atlanta, turning the High into a temporary runway for imagination and rebellion.

“We’ve always seen our collections as stories, not just fashion,” say Viktor and Rolf. “A museum lets that story breathe.”

“Viktor&Rolf: Fashion Statements” is on view now at the High Museum of Art. Don’t miss your chance to step into a world where couture becomes art and every stitch makes a statement.

Bottom line: It’s daring, dramatic, and delightfully over the top, a must-see for anyone who loves design with attitude.
