Raheem and Nicole Morris Lead Heart of Atlanta’s 2025 Heart Ball Campaign

ATLANTA (February 18, 2025) — For more than a century, the American Heart Association has been at the forefront of advancing health and hope for all. In Atlanta, Raheem and Nicole Morris will spearhead the 2025 Heart Ball campaign, aiming to ensure every individual in the city has access to a healthy, fulfilling life.

Raheem Morris, head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, and Nicole Morris, a committed community leader, are set to co-chair the annual event, which celebrates the American Heart Association’s progress in scientific research, health advocacy, and community education. The event will take place on Saturday, February 22, at the St. Regis Atlanta.

“Raheem and Nicole exemplify exceptional leadership and commitment to making a difference in our city,” said Carla Smith, senior vice president and executive director of the American Heart Association in Metro-Atlanta. “Their passion for our mission, deep understanding of community needs, and drive to create meaningful change makes them the ideal choice to co-chair this event.”

The Morrises’ advocacy for heart health is deeply personal. Raheem’s experience using CPR and an automated external defibrillator (AED) to save a young life highlighted the importance of being prepared for cardiac emergencies. Since then, the family has dedicated themselves to raising awareness about CPR training and the availability of AEDs, in alignment with the Association’s mission to empower individuals to act in life-threatening situations.

“We are truly honored to serve as the 2025 Atlanta Heart Ball Co-Chairs,” said Raheem and Nicole Morris. “As a family, we’ve seen firsthand how heart health impacts lives and are deeply committed to making a difference in our community. We are eager to work with the American Heart Association to break down barriers to health, invest in research, deliver impactful education, and advocate for healthier policies.”

The Heart Ball will also honor volunteers, survivors, and patrons of the American Heart Association, and guests can enjoy dinner, dancing, and an exciting auction. Sponsors of the event include Southern Company, DragonCon, and Locumtenens.com.

The event’s proceeds will support the American Heart Association’s mission to improve heart and brain health across Metro Atlanta, providing life-saving resources and education to the community.
