Pretty Girls Sweat Fest 2025 proved that fitness can be fierce, fun, and full of purpose. Earlier this month, women from all walks of life came together in Atlanta to celebrate sisterhood, self-care, and the power of breaking a sweat — all while redefining what healthy looks like.
Founded by Aeshia DeVore Branch, Pretty Girls Sweat began with a single moment of realization. In 2011, as a new mom, Branch discovered that African American and Hispanic children are 30% more likely to be overweight or obese than their white peers. That statistic struck a chord — and changed her life.
Determined to flip the narrative, Branch left behind her successful career in television production and launched a movement that fused fitness with female empowerment. What started as a small New York City workout event alongside Keri Hilson for Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” campaign has since evolved into a nationwide lifestyle brand, connecting women through wellness, confidence, and community.
At this year’s Sweat Fest, the energy was contagious. Attendees moved to upbeat playlists, joined group workouts, and shared affirmations that reminded everyone why self-love and movement go hand in hand.
Carrington Manous, correspondent for Peach Pop Five, was on site capturing all the action — from high-energy workouts to inspiring moments with women who embody strength, beauty, and balance. In her coverage, Carrington highlighted how Pretty Girls Sweat has become more than a fitness community — it’s a sisterhood built on showing up for yourself and lifting others while you do it.
