Singer Lana Del Rey painted the town red with Atlanta’s very own Quavo at his newest venture V12, a swanky sports bar and restaurant in the heart of the downtown.
Before signing autographs for adoring fans waiting outside the V12’s popular location across from the Varsity, Lana Del Rey posed it up with Quavo’s partners slash celebrated restaurateurs Vincent and Kelan Watson.
“Atlanta is NOT a Real place!! Yes, The (Del Rey) is just as døpe as she looks,” Kelan wrote in an Instagram post.
Going around the city is just a piece of the puzzle of this duo as Quavo teased a music collaboration with Del Rey.
“If u come from where u come then u were born….Tough!” Quavo wrote in an Instagram post.
Just a few days before this mega celeb spotting, Peach Pop Five spoke with Vincent and Kelan Watson about V12’s sophisticated atmosphere and VIP service. The siblings revealed that Quavo is indeed a foodie with an appetite that heavily influenced V12’s menu.
“He’ll tell you straight away I love it. I don’t love it,” Kelan said. “We wanted to keep the home style of Atlanta’s southern culture mixed with an elevated experience of tastings that we have picked up around the world.”
Together, all three partners join forces to deliver a top-notch experience inspired by one of the most innovative machineries in history.
“V12 is a type of engine, and it’s the best of the best. So essentially, we wanted to play off the fact that we were above a BP gas station. A lot of people, that’s the first thing negative thing that they want to say is,” Vincent said.”We’ve made sure to provide this view. This was all everything was very intentional. We felt like this was an iconic view of the Atlanta skyline. It’s one of the last unobstructed, unobstructed views because the city’s building up everywhere. And we wanted to take advantage of the prime real estate. It happens to be one of the busiest gas stations in the state of Georgia. And why not? Absolutely. So we definitely wanted to take advantage of that.”
