Anne Hathaway’s latest film was made in Atlanta

Have you caught Anne Hathaway’s film, “The Idea Of You,” yet? It’s adapted from the highly praised contemporary romance novel of the same name.

Hathaway portrays Solene, a 40-year-old single mother, who unexpectedly finds herself entangled in a romance with Hayes Campbell, played by Nichola Galitzine, the frontman of August Moon, the world’s hottest boy band.

Filmed right in the heart of Atlanta, according to the Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Film & Entertainment, “The Idea of You” showcases various iconic locations.

Atlanta Magazine reveals fascinating tidbits, like the Studio at Candler Park transforming into Solene’s art gallery, set in LA’s Silver Lakes neighborhood. Garibaldi’s in Savannah stands in for a Parisian Café, and a luxurious St. Tropez escape is depicted in a private Buckhead residence. Not to mention, the Atlanta Motor Speedway makes a surprising appearance as Coachella.

The global premiere of “The Idea of You” hit Prime Video on May 2nd. Directed by Michael Showalter, with a script by Showalter and Jennifer Westfeldt, the film boasts a stellar production team including Cathy Schulman, Gabrielle Union, Anne Hathaway, Robinne Lee, Eric Hayes, Michael Showalter, and Jordana Mollick.
